What a thrill to set here in Down East Maine and see the Church I grew up in. Growing up in Power this was my Church

Some of my earliest, fondest, memories are here. In her introduction to a study Beth Moore revisits how she fell in love with God in a bear chair as a very small child. For me, it was kindergarten Sunday School on my birthday collecting money in the Cake container in this wonderful church. The love and lessons of my ss teachers, many of which were also my grade school teachers, have impacted my life. I have had a blessed, full, exciting, and active life. After much travel, my husband and I have found a church that equally feeds my soul. It is a 107 year old Christian Church in Crab Orchard, TN, where the spirit of the Lord is very alive. God bless you, especially those who were such an impact on my life.

I was a member of the church in the 1950's, was married in the church and my parents, who are both living are Oliver & Vernell Hayes. I was very active in the youth group and I loved the people in the church. God bless the the Church is still very beautiful. La Verne Calhoun
